Course overview
Prep Week B is built to repeat, strengthen and refine the practical and theoretical skills required for the Yachtmaster examination.
You will go through the requested examination skills, gain confidence, receive support with passage planning, and finish the week with the Yachtmaster exam.

Pre-experience requirements
- Yachtmaster Coastal: 30 days, 2 days as skipper, 800 miles, 12 night hours
- Reduced to 20 days, 2 skipper days, 400 miles, 12 night hours with Coastal Skipper certificate
- Yachtmaster Offshore: 50 days, 2,500 miles, qualifying passages and skipper experience
- At least half of qualifying time must be in tidal waters
- Navigation knowledge to Yachtmaster shorebased level required
- Recognised VHF radio certificate required
- Recognised First Aid qualification required
